2020 has been a wild ride. In case you need proof, look no further than some of the food items that were released across restaurants and grocery stores. Some, like the Oreo Brookie-O, were incredible, while others, like Coca-Cola Tic Tacs, probably didn't need to happen. From the outrageously delicious to the ones that are weird in a bad way, here are the 20 most outrageous foods of 2020.

Oreo Brookie-O
When a brownie loves a cookie, they meld together and become a brookie. Oreo is playing on the magical combination with the Brookie-O. Inside the Oreo cookie sandwich are three creams: brownie, cookie dough, and the original Oreo filling. These technically don't come out until January 2021, but we're just so excited for these to get here already that we had to share.
Target's Hot Chocolate Bombs
Assuming you don't live under a rock, you've probably seen the videos of people melting hot chocolate bombs with hot milk. They're like bath bombs, only made with a chocolate shell and typically filled with cocoa powder and marshmallows. Target got in on the action and sold a version of these treats, as did Costco and Trader Joe's. The three-star ratings are only fair, and yet, they're sold out.
Bailey's Irish Cream Baking Chips
Talk about outrageously delicious. The people at Bailey's heard our pleas for something that would make chocolate chip cookies even better than they already are and gave us these morsels. They're nonalcoholic but have all the flavor of the real deal. Getting your hands on them might be tricky, but if you can get them, they'll take your holiday baking to the next level.
International Delight Elf Creamer
If we had Buddy the Elf's caramel waffle cookie creamer, we'd never run low on Christmas cheer. Buddy also made two other creamer flavors bound to make your cup of Joe more festive: peppermint mocha and frosted sugar cookie.
Zapp's Fried Pickles
Zapp's Voodoo chips are the best, but the brand took things to the next level with these fried pickles coated in the Voodoo seasoning. Now you can have a state fair snack without leaving the house—how perfect for 2020!
Stuffed Puffs
This winter, it's not enough to just put marshmallows in our hot chocolates. No, the people at Stuffed Puffs had to give us decadent mallows in flavors like chocolate peppermint bark (chocolate stuffed with a peppermint filling) and chocolate on chocolate to make our hot cocoas and Rice Krispie treats extra delicious this year.
Salted Caramel Lay's
Potato chips with a salted caramel coating might sound wild, but they might also be just what you need when you crave something that's both sweet and salty. They're hard to find and only available for a limited amount of time, though, so you might not want to get too excited.
Princess Goldfish Crackers
File these under "outrageously adorable." Whether you're young at heart or you love someone who is, what's not to love about cheese crackers in the shapes of our favorite Disney princesses? Jasmine, Moana, and Cinderella are all here.
Sweet Corn Pringles
Sweet Corn Pringles are a limited edition flavor, but some people will probably hope that they stick around. The thin, crispy chips are coated in a buttery corn dusting that might have you longing for summer.
Aldi's Birthday Cake Popcorn
You might not be able to get your hands on it now, but earlier this year Aldi released a birthday cake flavored popcorn. It's kettle corn drizzled in birthday cake frosting and, of course, sprinkles.
Mountain Dew-Flavored Doritos
Mountain Dew Doritos sound like something created in a high schooler's fever dream. The combination is…strange…but we have no way of actually knowing how it tasted because the chips were only launched in Australia.
Pillsbury Peaches and Cream Cinnamon Rolls
These sweet treats were released in February—which feels like a decade ago—and they brought a little warmth to the cold winter month. The cinnamon roll base came with a peaches and cream frosting. Yum!
Kellogg's Krave Cookie Dough Cereal
This cereal qualifies as outrageously ridiculous. Breakfast cereal made of cookie dough-filled nuggets seems far from a nutritious breakfast. But they're also tasty, so we don't blame you if you want to indulge.
Eggo Gingerbread Pancakes
Gingerbread flavor meets fluffy pancakes, and the best part is, you can find them in your freezer section. What's not to love about these warmly spiced treats?
Fireball Holiday Nog
It's the drink that, truly, no one asked for. Eggnog flavored with Fireball-inspired seasoning. Spike it with actual Fireball for a kick, naturally.
Hormel Ghost Reaper Chili
There's no other word but "outrageous" to describe this limited-edition canned chili, so we had to include it. Were you brave enough to try this insanely spicy blend of beans, ghost, and Carolina reaper chili peppers?
Dunkin' Ghost Pepper Doughnut
In a year filled with so much pain, it seems outrageous to think that people actually wanted to inflict pain upon themselves with a spicy doughnut. Thankfully, its lifespan was short-lived.
Peppermint Mocha Whipped Cream
Aldi crushes the seasonal whipped topping game, and the peppermint mocha is no exception. We highly recommend using it on your hot chocolate along with marshmallows (maybe even Stuffed Puffs?) for the ultimate holiday beverage.
Runamok Sparkle Syrup
We'd say that maple syrup infused with sparkles is pretty outrageous. But fun, too? Don't worry, the sparkles are made with food-safe pearlescent mica. Breakfast has never been so shimmery!
Jimmy Dean Casserole Bites
Why make a breakfast casserole when you can have these bite-sized versions? Try the French toast casserole for a sweet and savory combination.
