She does weight-based workouts most days of the week.
To maintain her toned physique, Decker relies on weight-based workouts. To begin her routine, she starts with 30 seconds of jump rope, high-knee running, ankle grabs, high kicks, lunges and lateral lunges, spinal rotations, and tension squats.
She follows this up with overhead squats with resistance bands, medicine ball slams and tosses, medicine ball chest passes, medicine ball sit-up tosses, resistance band pulls, deadlifts, step-down exercises, weighted overhead presses, inverted rows, bent over kettlebell rows, weight plate steering wheel exercises, dumbbell rotations, and box jumps.
"I work out 3 to 4 times a week and they pretty much look like this with certain variations whether we're doing more upper body or lower body," she explains. Decker credits her trainer, Nashville-based Kevin Klug, with helping her reach her fitness goals, calling him "the bomb.com!"

She typically skips breakfast.
While Decker doesn't stick to a strict intermittent fasting plan, she admits to typically skipping breakfast.
"I usually don't eat first thing in the morning, but if I do I will have a bowl of oatmeal or toast. I have coffee with cream (can't give that up)," explains Decker, noting that she'll often have a protein shake after her workout, too.
She combines protein and carbs at lunch and dinner.
For lunch and dinner, Decker focuses on combining protein and carbs to keep her energy high.
"For lunch, I will have 4 to 6 ounces chicken salad or chicken over rice," says Decker. "For dinner, I will either have a lean red meat, like flank steak with vegetables, chili from my book, or the same kind of thing—chicken and rice vegetables or my fit-enchiladas from my first book."
She gives herself some leeway when it comes to snacks.
While Decker mostly sticks to healthy protein-carb combos, she gives herself room for a little indulgence when it's time for a snack.
Decker explains that, when she's not watching her weight, she typically eats chips and salsa. "If I'm really watching myself, I will have a homemade protein energy ball," she says. She enjoys a little indulgence for dessert.
Though Decker doesn't typically consume much sugar at lunch or dinner, she allows herself a little treat at the end of the day. "For dessert, I will have a piece of chocolate," she explains.
