Jennifer Lopez's Workout Wednesday Video Shows How She's So Fit At 52
Leave it to Jennifer Lopez to give us major workout goals to strive for. The 52-year-old star recently posted an Instagram video of her #WorkoutWednesday routine, and the 'fitspo is strong. Lopez looks incredibly toned as she does reverse crunches and lifts weights in sleek black workout attire. (Hey, no pain, no gain, right?)
Clearly, the actress makes fitness a top priority and takes her workout sessions very seriously. J.Lo posted her workout moves streamed to her newest tune, "On My Way," a song featured in her upcoming rom-com, Marry Me, which will debut in movie theaters on February 11th,—just in time for Valentine's Day. J.Lo is "#OnMyWay to a better me"
With over 9,400,000 views (which continue to grow), it's easy to understand why fans are so impressed with J.Lo's workout motivation. Followers showed their love with heart, hand clapping, and fire emojis to support the actress, singer, dancer, and obvious fitness pro.
Lopez's full Instagram caption reads, "#OnMyWay to a better me"—a cool shoutout to her brand new hit—with the glitter and muscle flexing emojis, in addition to #WorkoutWednesday. In between exercises, J.Lo sips from a totally blinged-out water bottle, and we're wondering where we can grab one of those.

J.Lo is great fitness and all-around daily inspiration
We can all take a page from J.Lo's workout playbook. The star continues to serve up fitness inspiration all while crushing it in her career, and it's impressive how she juggles it all—rehearsing, recording, workout out, and being an awesome mom.
Over the summer, she posted a video rehearsing a routine she wanted to get perfect for the next day. She notes in the caption, "We rehearse anytime, anywhere…I had to work in the recording studio that night, but had the video shoot the next day, so I had @sienna.lalau meet me there and we moved some couches around and did it right on the rug…LOL… People sometimes think I'm crazy but I wanted it to be perfect the next day for the video shoot!!"
The beginning of January, Lopez posted another video where she gets real with fans before heading to a sweat session. She discusses how she's feeling and what her intentions are for the brand new year—practicing mindfulness and positive thoughts so she can be the best partner, mother, friend, daughter, boss, and person. The caption reads, "It's #MotivationMonday I wanna know what your goals and intentions are for this year!!! Maybe we do them together. Tell me in the comments below," and fans were quick to note their own hopes and goals in the comments.
Everyone has a busy life, but not many compare to a schedule like Lopez's
In 2020, Lopez was interviewed by Oprah where she was described as "astoundingly age defying; who gives new meaning to the age 50." J.Lo said in the interview, "I honestly feel the same way I did when I was 28," and added, "Just because I'm going to turn 50, it's not over." Lopez makes her kids a priority, and knows how important it is to take care of herself in order to be able to take care of her family.

You can make a difference in your physical fitness, too
Many individuals work out a few times each week for several hours each time and feel they don't even see results. So what's the ultimate sweet spot when it comes to how often a person should work out? If you want to know what's average in order to make a difference in your physical fitness, 30 minutes each day is a good amount of time to perform "moderate physical activity," as recommended by the Mayo Clinic's Dr. Edward Laskowski, who's certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (via Newsweek).
