4 Highly-Anticipated Grocery Items Launching Soon

Nothing beats the excitement of discovering a new product inside the grocery store, so what better way to ring in the new year than to stumble upon some that just hit the shelves? From completely new products to reintroduced classics, 2022 is set to be full of new surprises to keep shoppers on their toes.

New arrivals are right around the corner. Check out our list of some of the up-and-coming goodies that will be making their way to the store shelves soon.

New Oreo Flavors

Some Oreos lovers separate the wafers and eat the filling, others tend to eat the entire cookie intact. No matter your preference, Oreos has been known to give us new and interesting flavors to try.

The two newest ones are the Ultimate Chocolate Flavor Creme and Toffee Crunch Flavor Creme. Chocolate lovers can rejoice as the Ultimate Chocolate Oreos soon arrives at supermarkets… but it's only available for a limited time. The Toffee Crunch Oreos are here to stay and according to The Today Show, both flavors are available nationwide.

New General Mills Cereals

Everyone has heard of Honey Nut Cheerios, Cocoa Puffs, and Lucky Charms, but General Mills is distributing new flavors to add some excitement to these old favorites. The manufacturer just revealed eight new kinds of cereal in total, just in time for the new year!

Names like CinnaGraham Toast Crunch, Plentifull Cereals, and :ratio Keto Granola should start to ring a bell in the near future. With so many new flavors, breakfast may start looking a little different.

Dunkaroos Pancake Kit

This classic cookie and frosting combo has been transformed into a brand new Dunkaroos Pancake Kit. The box comes with both pancake mix and rainbow sprinkles frosting, and when combined with water or milk makes for a unique flavor of pancakes.

"Easy to prep and easy to make, it's a breakfast the whole family can create," the Betty Crocker company says about this new grocery item. And luckily we won't have to wait as long as we did for Dunkaroos themselves to return—the pancake kit is available now.

Crystal Pepsi

Adding to the wave of nostalgia is the beloved classic Crystal Pepsi. A product of the 90s, the drink is making a triumphant comeback in honor of its 30th anniversary for a limited time, according to USA Today. The beverage was nothing short of unique, and those who missed out on it in the 90s can finally get a taste of the vintage Pepsi product.

First introduced in 1992, it only spent a short amount of time in reach of consumers before its discontinuation in 1994. But some consider the fizzy drink to be of very high value, with cans being listed at nearly $100 online.

Whether looked at as a collector's item or simply a refreshing thirst quencher, longtime fans of the drink can rejoice and snag their Crystal Pepsi soon—but only if they win Pepsi's contest by using the Twitter hashtag #ShowUsYour90s to post pictures of themselves in that decade. A lucky 300 will be chosen as the winners!
