She starts her day with lots of water.
To kick off her morning, Gadot follows an intense hydration routine.
"I wake up and drink water like a camel," says Gadot. "I have a full, chilled bottle of Smartwater + Clarity before coffee or anything else," adds Gadot, who serves as a spokesperson for the bottled water brand.
She sticks to a Mediterranean diet.
You won't find Gadot hopping on the latest diet bandwagon to maintain her shape. Instead, she sticks to a healthy Mediterranean diet.
"I'm all about the Mediterranean diet. I love to cook it, and I enjoy eating it too," she says. According to Gadot's trainer, Magnus Lygdback (via Women's Health), Gadot's Mediterranean-inspired Wonder Woman 1984 diet included eggs with avocado, tomatoes, and quinoa; salads with grilled fish; and wild rice with vegetables and grilled steak.
She allows for some indulgences.
While Gadot may adhere to a mostly healthy diet, she doesn't deprive herself.
"I'm not a saint," she tells Shape. "I eat cheeseburgers and stuff like that. But the majority of the time, I keep it healthy. And when I do, I'm more vital."
She tries to exercise daily.
Even when she's not filming, Gadot makes sure to keep exercise a top priority.
The actor says that interval training has been her go-to home-based workout throughout the pandemic. "I try to get to it every day, but sometimes it's more like three to four times a week," says the star, admitting that squeezing in workouts has been no small feat with her family stuck at home.
She prioritizes self-care.
It's not just exercise that helps Gadot maintain her mental and physical well-being. The star says that she relies on the Headspace app to guide her through regular meditation sessions.
"That and getting enough quality sleep are the keys for me," she says.
