4 New Menu Items Dunkin' Is Releasing This Summer
If you loved the nine spring items that Dunkin' added this year, you might really love what they have brewing for summer. Dunkin' is ready to kick off a fun season of fresh food and drinks, and free coffee for healthcare workers on National Nurses Day, May 6. Oh—and if you've been dialed in to Dunkin's recent menu upgrades, you'll find they've nailed a big way to top one of the most talked-about menu items of late.
The chain is hanging on to its buzzy avocado toast—but they're topping it with an ingredient that's likely to make some customers try it for the first time: Yep, it's bacon. Plus they're pouring up a new, nutty latte and a couple other significant updates to their coffee offerings.

Bacon Avocado Toast
Dunkin' refers to this bacony bump to spring's avocado toast as a "terrific take on a toasty, tasty trend." They've also added everything bagel seasoning in a move that makes this toast totally right-now. Nutrition info for Dunkin's bacon avocado toast wasn't readily available at press time, as is unfortunately the case with many limited releases, but… keep in mind that while this sounds like big flavor, the bacon brings fat, along with sodium that only increases with the everything bagel seasoning.

Butter Pecan Sundae Signature Latte
From Dunkin's announcement: "The new Butter Pecan Sundae Signature Latte is a whimsical take on the classic ice cream flavor, featuring Dunkin's premium espresso paired with Butter Pecan flavor, topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and rainbow sprinkles." If all that sounds like a liiittle too much sugar for your taste (after all, it an example of the worst way to drink coffee), the good news is that you'll be able to tone this down by adding the butter roasted pecan or sweet cream flavors to any Dunkin' coffee drink instead.
Sunrise Batch Hot Coffee
Sunrise Batch is the latest in Dunkin's Limited Batch Series, a medium roast they say "features notes of cocoa, tangy sweetness, and toasted nuts." They've used Kenyan and Latin American beans to craft it, highlighting the goal Dunkin' has made in recent years to be counted among the country's highest-quality coffee purveyors. Plus, they're donating funds to gender equity education for coffee producers in the Latin American region where the beans are sourced. Great to see historic brands keeping up with our times.
Coconutmilk and Dunkin' Coconut Refreshers
On the heels of this week's announcement about their new coconut milk drinks, Dunkin' announced they'll be serving medium-sized Dunkin' Coconut Refreshers for $3, which started April 28 and will run through May 25. The refreshers come in three flavors: strawberry dragonfruit, peach passion fruit, and blueberry pomegranate. All three sound flavorful, but beware of the sugar and any possible artificial ingredients.
Free Coffee for Healthcare Workers
On Thursday, May 6, healthcare workers who can demonstrate their work by presenting their I.D. can receive a free medium coffee at Dunkin' with no purchase necessary. Not included in the giveaway are their Cold Brew and Nitro Cold Brew. Kudos to our healthcare workers… you all deserve a relaxing coffee break, and so much more.
