Everyone Wants To Stock Up On This Huge Costco Dessert
The list of desserts at Costco is long, but shoppers can't stop talking about one that is a staple on cool summer nights by the fire that also comes in a gigantic box. But while the Costco Eli's Cheesecake S'Mores Squares come frozen, the jury's still out on whether people like them better that way, left out to thaw, or even warmed.
Costco Instagram accounts @costco_doesitagain and @costcobuys alerted their followers about the find recently, and hungry fans also posted about it on Reddit. The posts have gotten hundreds of comments ranging from excitement, to asking how they best are served, to simply tagging family and friends who need to know about them.

The box includes 24 squares, it's over 2 pounds and is $12.99. Eli's Cheesecake, which has been creating "Chicago's Finest" Cheesecake since 1980, says the squares are "the ultimate campfire treat without the campfire" and include a graham cracker crumb crust on top of a thick layer of chocolate ganache, and finally topped off with lightly toasted mini marshmallows.
One Instagram commenter replying to @costco_doesitagain's post says they are 100% worth it. Others debate about how to serve them best, even though the instructions say to leave them out for about two hours before enjoying.
One says they tossed the directions in the trash and improvized. "I prefer them straight out of the freezer and let them soften about 5 minutes or so," they said.
Another said they ate them cold right out of the freezer, and another said they found a hack from TikTok. "I saw someone on TikTok put one on the air fryer and it looked amazing!"
Some commenters don't like them warm, but others say that's the best way to get the authentic s'mores taste. "I put mine in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds even though the instructions don't recommend!" one said.
In the end, though, it seems like there's no bad way to prepare them.
Since the Costco S'Mores Cheesecake squares are dessert, it's best to limit the number you consume. With 24 in the box and the positive reviews, it's best to share as many as possible. Marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers aren't usually low-calorie! They're not available on Costco's website, so you'll have to go to your local warehouse to get them.
