Costco Changed the Recipe For This Beloved Bakery Item, Customers Say
For Costco members, there's nothing quite like biting into a fresh bakery item that has either been gone for a while or is brand new. Everyone has their favorites among the pies, cakes, muffins, bagels, danishes, and cookies—and can sense when something is off or an item hasn't reappeared on time.
One Costco member recently took to Reddit to ask if others have noticed a change in an iconic fruity breakfast pastry. The perfect ratio of blueberries to batter is needed to create the best-possible blueberry muffin, but according to these Costco members, the latest selections are severely lacking in bursting berries.

Words like "disappointed," "tasted different," "hardly any blueberries," "not the same," and more are used to describe the muffins in the Reddit thread started by user @Kmmontanez.
Speculation continues in the comments, with some saying it may be a new baker, or the berries could be smaller.

Eat This, Not That! has reached out to Costco to confirm whether or not the recipe is different.
