Burger King Just Added Three New Sandwiches to the Menu
Burger King's bid to refresh its menu is already taking shape. The chain is reducing the number of promotions and streamlining the menu with several cuts, but the news isn't all bad. Customers can expect new, creative extension of the Whopper brand—and Burger King is already delivering in this arena with three new sandwiches launching today.
After a limited-time test in select Ohio locations earlier this year, the Whopper Melts are now officially on the menu nationwide. These sandwiches are served on toasted bread instead of a bun and can be held in one hand, according to the chain's press release, which means they're more compact than the actual Whopper.

The Melts come in three varieties and are selling at an a-la-carte price of $4.29.
The Whopper Melt: Features two slices of toasted bread, layered with two Whopper Jr. Patties, melted American cheese, caramelized onions, and Stacker Sauce.
The Spicy Whopper Melt: Features two slices of toasted bread, layered with two Whopper Jr. Patties, melted American cheese, jalapeños, caramelized onions, and a creamy spicy sauce.
The Bacon Whopper Melt: Features two slices of toasted bread, layered with two Whopper Jr. Patties, melted American cheese, crispy bacon, caramelized onions, and Stacker Sauce.
According to Burger King, these hot takes on the classic Whopper are just the first of several more coming later this year.
To spread the word and celebrate the new Whopper Melts, the chain is offering limited-time, curated Whopper Melt Meal combos for $6 to its Royal Perks members. Starting March 10, they can be accessed through the mobile app or on bk.com.
