McDonald's Is Launching a New Burger and a New McFlurry This Month
Hot on the heels of its McRib Farewell Tour and the new Black Panther Happy Meal, McDonald's just announced two exciting new limited-time offers that are landing on the menus in a few short weeks.
On Nov. 21, restaurants across the nation will begin selling a new Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with Cheese and an Oreo Fudge McFlurry—a smoky and sweet combo that the chain is hoping will become the "it" pairing of the season.
The new dressed-up Quarter Pounder looks similar to the traditional one with the addition of Applewood-Smoked bacon, fresh tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and a new "smoky" sauce. You could also make it a double if you're truly famished.
The idea is to get the burger and pair it with the new OREO Fudge McFlurry which appears to be the classic OREO version with an additional swirl of fudge. Who do we have to talk to about getting some peanut butter in there too?
This duo is said to be available for a limited time only, so hurry if you want to see what all the fuss is about. You'll be able to get both items in restaurants as well as through the chain's phone app and via McDelivery.
It isn't every day that McDonald's adds a new sandwich to the menu, but this year has brought several major innovations—from the discontinued McPlant experiment to the recent Chicken Big Mac test, which is currently only available at some Miami, Fla., locations. The new chicken concoction features all the classic Big Mac toppings—the signature special sauce, American cheese, pickles, shredded lettuce, and a sesame bun—with the beef patties being replaced by tempura chicken patties. The mashup has, however, received mixed reviews from those who've tried it.
