6 Fast-Food Chains Offering Free and Cheap Food Deals Right Now

Back in April, these 7 restaurants were giving out food freebies that, no doubt, lifted many a lockdown-weary spirit. Well, now that Halloween, the election, the holidays, and (potentially) a second wave of lockdowns are approaching, your favorite restaurant chains are bringing back or launching new food deals. Read on to see all the free and/or cheap deals currently on offer—but just make sure you indulge in these sparingly. And, in case you're looking to make up for all the splurges you're about to enjoy, here are 21 of the best healthy cooking hacks of all time.
Mcdonald's
For the first time in a long time, McDonald's has added three new bakery items to its McCafé lineup: apple fritters, blueberry muffins, and cinnamon rolls. Each is available all day, and from November 3 through November 9, you can get one for free, every single day, any time you order any size McCafé Premium Roast or Iced Coffee through the McDonald's app for pick-up at a participating restaurant.

Burger King
Burger King is offering these two ways to get one free Whopper sandwich:
New registered users of the Burger King app can get a regular Whopper free with any purchase. All you have to do is download the app and register. But check this out: You don't have to even use the app to take advantage of this deal, which is valid in-store as well as via delivery.
Registered app users can also get a free Whopper just for getting within 300 feet of one of five abandoned restaurants that were once operated by other fast-food chains and then going to the Scary Places tile on the app and clicking "I AM HERE."
Krispy Kreme
Fans of Krispy Kreme doughnuts, rejoice, for there are currently three fun ways to snag a free Krispy Kreme doughnut:
Between now and October 31, you can get a free doughnut (apparently, any kind) at any participating Krispy Kreme just by wearing your Halloween costume to the store. You don't even have to say "trick or treat!" (By the way, Tim Horton's is offering a similar deal.)
On Election Day (November 3), you can get a free Original Glazed just by showing up at a participating Krispy Kreme. In addition, in recognition of the fact that many are voting early or by mail, Krispy Kreme is also offering "I Voted" stickers. Here are even more ways to get free food just by voting.
If the Hot Light is lit up at your local Krispy Kreme, that means not only that fresh doughnuts await, but also that you can get one free Original Glazed with any purchase.

White Castle
Through November 28, you can get a free Combo Meal at participating White Castle locations. You just have to download White Castle app, create an account, join Craver Nation, and order from your local venue via the app. Even better, it appears you can make use of this deal as many times as you want through November 28.

Wendy's
Here are three ways to eat free at Wendy's through November 8:
You can get a free Classic Chicken Sandwich with any purchase if you order through Wendy's mobile app.
You can get a free Breakfast Croissant with any purchase during Wendy's breakfast hours.

IHOP
Until 10 p.m. on October 30th, IHOP will treat your kids under the age of 12 to a free Mr. Mummy Pancake, which consists of (warning: read on only if you have a strong stomach or are a child under the age of 12) a large green pancake topped with cream cheese icing "bandages," eyes made of banana slices and chocolate chips, and a creepy smile made of purple whipped icing.
