The third annual Prime Day event is here. Exclusively reserved for Amazon Prime members — or those who sign up for a 30-day Prime trial — Prime Day is a deals event that offers hundreds of thousands of items at prices that are 77 percent lower than what's offered on Black Friday, according to BestBlackFriday.com. The 30-hour-long event runs from 9 p.m. ET on Monday, July 10 through 3 a.m. ET on Wednesday July 12.
While Amazon Prime Day begins at 9 p.m. ET on Monday, July 10, if you own one of Amazon's voice-activated services, either an Echo or Echo Dot, you'll have access to some Prime Day sales two hours before everyone else, beginning at 7 p.m. Even better, Amazon is offering extra discounts if you purchase from one of these devices.
